Welcome to MERIN, an online platform for finding information and resources on Myanmar’s elections.

An information website conceived to provide interested active community members, decision makers, stakeholders, academics and members of the press with easy access to the information available regarding past and upcoming elections in Myanmar, as well as election materials, manuals, electoral laws and observer reports.

MERIN is currently managed by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) in close cooperation with the Union Election Commission of Myanmar.

Information and a library of hard copies of some resources will also be made available at the Shwe Li Information Center located in Yangon, starting from December 2017. Details on the exact opening dates will be posted soon.
