The Myanmar Election Resource and Information Network is an extensive archive of all election-related materials in Myanmar. MERIN is a non-partisan platform, created to enable Myanmar voters and researchers to access information about the democratic process, with the utmost transparency and integrity.
There are three key sections of the archive:
- Training Resources is a library of pamphlets, vinyls, posters and summaries of training programs facilitated by CSOs in Myanmar to promote civic participation. These training resources are organized by target demographic, namely young first-time voters, gender equality, disability rights and minorities (including ethnic minorities). You can also find video documentaries and interviews about some of the training programs.
- Civic and Voter Education is a record of materials and messages publicly distributed to educate voters ahead of elections. This includes posters displayed at polling booths and messages distributed via other media.
- Election Resources is an archive of all publications concerning elections in Myanmar. You can search the documents by topic, by type, or by publication year. Category highlights include election FAQs, inclusion of women, disability and ethnic minorities, observer reports, open election data, UEC forms, election legal framework, and polling materials.
